We did a 3300km road trip around the south island in a 1968 Triumph Vitesse. Love the sound of Triumph 6 cylinder engines

  • Just love it. The exquisite sounds are all there, the only thing missing is the smell, slightly musty and gearbox oil. Wish I still had mine, a MK II convertable British Racing green 2l. Such a fun car to drive. It went like stink, drank petrol and would kill you if you weren't careful.....some wish it had .lol

  • Beauty! I had the North American version, the Sports 6. '63, Red with a black stripe down the side. Bought it in '94 when I finished high school. Damn I miss that car! Sounds llike a great trip.

  • Seems and sounds so familiar: the body and steering wheel shaking, the rattles, the whining of the gearbox... Mine (1969 mk2 convertible) should be restored... Has been standing for at least 12 years
