Smooth !

Dude that IS a great bass groove. Makes me want to go buy another Fender % string J bass and start playing again.
-
cool but really boring put some feeling into it
-
hmm, that bassline realy makes me remember john paul jones style... the jam itself still pretty good;
-
Your a good bassist to sit through that and let the guitarist have the jam.
Good man, I know how boring it can get, dont be a bench rider though! Everyone likes a good little bass riff , especially with blues.
-
Great playing !

Any tips for how you come up with the bass lines?

actually this bass line is from the original song... except for the small licks I do when passing from D to C wich is sort of improvised with the blues scale
anyways its a pretty fun bass line to play and sounds great.... if you want tabs for the bass ill pass them on ... (Y)

u liked the sound? :P
haha
im using a Viola bass (made by denver)
strings: fender Stainless Bass Flatwound 9050s (.045 gauge)
amp: behringer ultrabass bx1200
im also using a "BEQ700 behringer graphic equalizer" and a "BLE100 behringer bass limiter enhancer" (both you can find at behringer's website....
bass at 5, low mid at 2, high mid at 2 and treeble at 4... the graph equalizer goes: 5, 15, -10, 0, 5, 10 and 5.... and the enhancer is set at almost full ratio and very low threshold...
