stop arguing about the name!! call the way you want kyiv or kiev. i call it kiev. kiev sounds better. and easier to say. stop trying to brake the tongue with this Kyiv.

sure you call it what you like however this is fairly ignorant and disrespectful to Ukrainians, Ukrainian nation its constitution, history and culture - you really should show more respect after all world's embassies including USA, even Russian use Kyiv - Kyiv is written on all legal documents in Ukraine and if you changed the name on these legal documents to Kiev you would render them unofficial - calling the capital city Kyiv by its proper name respects Ukrainian culture and independence

If you were raised in Kyiv you of all people should realise official and legal English spelling is Kyiv as written on all signs, Constitution, Embassies of world all use Kyiv - fact google is not accurate - commies persist with incorrect spelling
