  • Great thanks!

Interviews with great soviet musicians are very rare. Igor Bezrodny stays together with Oistrakh and Kogan. He was not giving many concerts but his recordings were highly appreceated by his great peers. Additionally I'd say that probably the first in USSR record of violin concert by Walton was made by him (this is to prove that his repertoire was not narrow). That's why so extensive interview about music and about playing music with Bezrodny is extremely valuable!

  • Thank you for posting. I recall watching this documentary long, long time ago (Bulgarian television). I particularly remember the episode when he speaks of being accused of narraw repertoire (~5 min). However, what depth and quality he revealed when playing Bach! Regrettably, I didn't know until now that he had passed away at a relatively very young age in 1997 at the age of 67. Again thank you for keeping the memory of Igor Bezrodny alive

  • Thank you. This documentary helped me. Wonderful artist
