  • This takes me back. I saw it on the television during the 1970's and it will always be associated with the Open University bods in chunky jumpers on BBC2 talking about differential fractal equivalences of given entropic spectral formulae.

We were very strange in those days we brits.

  • they look like those guys with the little flags at the airport runway..

  • Shouldn't they all be wearing giant horse heads?

  • Painful

  • i know Jared Twenty!!! lol

  • I liked the beginning, when the guys silently waved their sticks around.

    It went downhill after that.

  • lol, I think I was there for this performance

  • Yuck!

  • the ritualistic character of this piece is pretty outdated. I really like Birtwistle, but this concept is quite a cliché. We know he has use the ritualistic model in several pieces and it's usually quite effective...but AGAIN????and exactly for percussion???? it can't get more redundant.
