Written by Ferron- gorgeous solo recording with guitar, but absolutely stunning done by Sweet Honey. I was gifted to see SHTR perform it with all original singers in the early 80s. If this doesn't both bring you to your knees and make you feel you feel 5 miles tall, then you need to redefine "god/goddess", and definitely what you call "sacred".
