What the. . . .? Is that the elusive Paula Inosanto practicing with Dan? I've been to the academy 5 times and have never seen her.

@spadaydaga You are right, and I also get the sense (from reading the history) that Dan could have easily taken Bruce to the ground and pounded him. But he has respect for his teachers and he had respect for Bruce.

This is awesome and its easy and simple to follow.
Please reconsider you're opinion. Guru Dan Inosanto, who you referred to as "chink" as well as Bruce Lee basically influenced every single martial art used in all practical fighting. In Fact real street fighting is very heavily influenced by JKD and Philipino trapping is an AMAZINGLY effective martial art. Kickboxing was basically brought to American by Guru Dan. If you have any respect for martial arts of any kind at all then you should respect this man.

In truth, and in all fairness to Dan. He did teach Bruce. Nunchaku, the Kicking Air shield, Kenpo concepts, and others. He was a great training partner to Bruce and a good training partner is very rare in MA. One can learn a great deal from a training partner.
