SAIA Divestment Campaign Rally part I

SAIA Carleton (Student Against Israeli Apartheid) organized a divestment rally before a CUSA (Carleton University Student Association) council meeting. The purpose of the divestment campaign is to get the university (specifically the board of governors of Carleton University) to divest from companies violating international law and human rights. These companies specifically violate human rights law when they profit and aid the Israeli army with resources to kill and harm Palestinian citizens. A diverse student groups on campus united in this rally.
