The swinging volley is a great tool to add to your tennis training.

It will help you attack the person who moon balls.

The swinging volley is a great weapon to execute once you have your opponent off the court and want to take time away from their defensive shot.

Next time, try having someone toss you high tennis balls to you around the service line so you can work on hitting swinging volleys.

More and more pros are starting to use the swinging volley instead of just letting the ball bounce.

One of the key finishes on the swinging volley is the hand turn.

This is where you will swing across your body and catch the racquet closer to your swing hip of the non dominant side.

Try using the swinging volley next time during your tennis training.

Even try the swinging volley in a match if someone if giving you really high short balls.

Did you forget to give him a microphone? I can barely hear him speaking!

Swinging volleys is one of my fav shots. Most of the time I prefer it instead of just smashing it and you create a better angle with it when the timing is on point. And I think its a lot better with the buggy whip, you end up better prepared w/ the racquet for the next shot if there's another one.

Great advise on tracking the ball, I didn't notice that I run sideways towards the ball instead of just stalking the ball w/ the racquet upfront!

Good point about Oscar Wegener. When it comes to tracking the ball and putting more emphasis on the arm, I was on the wrong path myself for many years. Thought about athletic stance, trunk rotation etc.
