I think bodybuilders like this guy would totally appreciate if you acknowledged him as simply a great bodybuilder and not one belonging to a race. Surely, you meant no harm. But it would probably be nice if he knew he was simply another bodybuilder, and not one needing to belong to a distinguished group (e. g. an "asian bodybuilder," a "latino bodybuilder," a "white bodybuilder", etc. etc.)

Besides, most of the girls I have spoken to (I'm hispanic) said they find black men unattractive- unless the man is particularly good looking (Jaimie Foxx, Reggie Bush etc).
However, they said they would date an Asian because they are "kinda cute".
