I've been playing with the T-mobile Nokia Lumia 710 for at least a week already and now I'm ready to share my review. It's the first Nokia Windows Phone in the US. It will be available on January 11th for only $50 at T-mobile. You might even find it for free when Amazon starts selling it. Is the Nokia Lumia 710 for you?
It's a long video, so let's break it down into parts.

Verdict:
The Nokia Lumia 710 is Nokia's first Windows Phone device in the US. If you were looking for the latest and greatest from Nokia, this isn't it. The Nokia Lumia 710 is targeted for another group of consumers. I think the price will be very enticing for first time smartphone buyers that are current T-Mobile subscribers. A good example would be my mom. She currently has a phone she only uses for phone calls. For 2012, when she's up for upgrade, she wants a device she can use to check emails on the go. While I could recommend an Android device, I strongly believe she'll have an easier time with Windows Phone. I'll be recommending the Nokia Lumia 710.

@FatLingon Theyve always called their mobile phones "windows mobile" but now with windows phone 7 theres a new metro style layout its very stable, powerful, and with a growing marketplace its rising fast. So I would say people are buying windows phones because they want to. not because of its name.

The only reason these phones will sell at all (being a new OS on the smart phone market) is because of the name "Windows"... now, we know it's not Windows in the way that it can run Windows software for the x86-architecture (Intel & AMD desktop/laptop-processors), so it really hasn't anything to do with Windows. If Microsoft decided to call it Bing OS, it would not attract as much... instead if called Zune OS, it would fail even harder.
That goes to show how powerful naming things really are.
