if the drivers of the small, nimble cars would just be a little more courteous and hold on for a damn minute and let the massive semi do it's thing, there'd be no problems.

I just block both lanes. Problem solved.

geez! the car at :41 needs a ticket! Cars aren't suppose to drive over the solid white crosswalk paint while pedestrians are they. The car was a few feet from running them over. Wow!

Sometimes I take both lanes and sometimes I have to make the right turn from the left lane, due to narrow street I have to turn on. All the time watching mirrors.
Many time I have cars passing on right. Like my Company says, Just stop if you have to. Then proceed when safe.

@BGIGUERe ok...so next time you want to get some food...or paper for buisness work or anything else that you use wile in a city center, stop and think..if it wasnt for big trucks you would have none of it. instead of 1 big truck why not use atleast 5 trucks to do the same work???...that would raise pollution as well as increase the risk of traffic accidents. if it wasnt for truckers citys would have nothing. people need to learn to calm down and not be in a god danm rush everywhere.

I am sorry but IMHO a 45 foot trailer (or more) has no business in a dense city center. Only smaller trucks should be used.

@mps63 The problem with the 2sd method 2:54, is that if you are in heavy traffic area and turn into the on-coming lane you may be stuck while people try to either back up or go around you, I have seen this happen in LA at E Olympic and S Alameda St. people were cussing and flipping off the driver, but most wouldn’t give him the room, I had to block them so he could finish the turn and move on.
Either way truckers are dammed if they do and dammed if they don’t
@raylouis-Thanks for you input!
