Why no mention of EVE Online? EVE is a game that is successful and its been around longer than WOW. It does not have cartoony graphics in fact its just the opposite. The great thing about EVE is its one server. There are not servers for different regions of the world. Every day you encounter people who speak different language and live in a different country. You must overcome these differences. The most common way is to just kill the other person but that's beside the point.

@TAGsten EVE Online still looks good today, and they constantly update it and tweak it. The gameplay is good, but tends to favor a certain population.

this isn't a diss on the video or anything i just though it was kind of odd how you listed all the points that make an MMO great which included Cartoony Graphics, lower computer requirements, responsive gameplay, good combat animations, and Content, then you said you were really excited about GW2, now while im not gonna say GW2 is gonna suck, I think its gonna be a good game though I am going for SWTOR myself, its just that GW2 only has half of those requirements that you listed.

@w2pi cartoony graphics and lower computer requirements, just from what i've seen it seems it will require a decent amount more computer power than SWTOR. I'm not trying to steer you away from GW2 it does seem like a good game and I know i'll be playing it, along with SWTOR, I just thought it was kind of odd.

WoW's community today is nothing but a husk of what it once was. The dungeon finder saw to that, I ran some of the new 4.3 dugeons today. No greetings, there was no conversation about the new content (or anything for that matter) and when we wiped once 2 people instantly ragequit

It was much more immersive when you had to ask around, group up and then travel to the intended dungeon, and the chances are you stuck with that group for a couple more dungeons. Great time & met some great people

@HuhIntense so true, and the fact that you can use dungeon finder now means you get dungeons alot faster, obviously, but the dungeons get so boring, much faster

People who play it don't understand how soulless the game is. EVERYTHING is flawed in swtor. I agree with goblins. WoW is repetetive and sucks to imo.

Yet the evidence to your claim is another claim that has no evidence? What planet do you live on? Look up the server populations, kiddo. The servers became larger because Bioware expanded them more to allow more players to make characters on servers. They've stated this numerous times. The player numbers don't lie. They've been increasing and they still will. Go hate on another game you're bad at.
