Yet another Hitler parody, I know. :-)
Synopsis: Adolf Hitler, who has been secretly running the show behind the curtains at MPEG LA, sees his diabolical plot to seize ownership of the web being thwarted by Google. Understandably, he reacts with some disappointment.
Since the first Hitler parody that I saw was about HD DVD losing out to Blu-ray as the successor to DVD, I decided to make one that was also about video standards.
My personal opinion on the chosen subject: now that Google has thrown its full weight behind WEBM, it's game over for h.264 as an HTML5 web standard. And good riddance, too. Bye bye royalties, hello open web video community! :-)
The actual movie (for those of you who still haven't seen it, shame on you) is Der Untergang (Downfall), released by Constantin Film AG. All copyrights to the movie rest with them.

Feel free for open standards. We don't need commercial innovation breaks by a proprietary codec.
