Mystery Missile Flash & Explosion (update 12.11.10) - Former US Deputy Secretary of Defence Robert Ellsworth told it was a pretty big missile but not a Tomahawk cruise missile. He also aired his opinion about, that it could be a test firing of an intercontinental ballistic missile from a submarine, to demonstrate to Asia that United States can do that. Other speculations are, that it could be a target, which was launched to test anti-missile lasers, which are currently being developed and do get tested in the Pacific.

In the video I made, you can see a flash and I wonder why all the videos I have seen so far, don´t show anything about this flash? They cut or zoom out fast when the flash appears. It´s like you stop the movie when it is most exiting. If I was video editor working for Sky2 or CBS8, I would focus on the sequences where the explosion-like flash appears. You know, where some dramatic event unfolds.

You see in one sequence Sky2 cuts the clip just as the flash appears and in another sequence, they zoom out just then the flash appears. CBS8 choose to wait just after the flash (see clip 4 in the video above) and precise that flash looks like an explosion to me. You may have noticed, that the contrail stops at a certain point and we see no more sparkling light, fire or flashes. The theory it could be a target, which was launched to test anti-missile lasers, could be a very good explanation. The missile was for target practise and they used lasers to shoot it down?

could be a Star Wars Missile Defense Laser test on a Test ICBM From a space based platform.

@Thunderhook715 - that could be a good explanation - we know they are testing lasers and have done that a couple of times the last months or so. But what I think is weird, is that they mean it is a contrail from flight 808 and that plane made the same type of contrail 24 hours after. If that really was a missile, it was pointed at the LA area - missile or airplane, no matter what, it was heading for LA

wait wasn't the spiral in china also a "russian missile"? and the one that flew over the airport too. the laser hypothesis is interesting, the flash looks greenish to me which would make sense if it was zapped with a high-power green laser. but i seriously doubt this was a test by our military. not in full view of LA like that. probably the submarine launch, either China or North Korea. just a demonstration most likely.

For ufologist it may be best point to claim about ufo truth in congres and in USA you people after ridiculous explanation and waiting for it go to them go straight to obama or whatever to any tv and say that u want truth about ufo seeing what are they doing here

@MrVonDinkel Good point because it's real one it happened before it could happend now. Now one hard evidence why media edited out a black craft from the video? Its not any known craft to people and it's not helicopter why user did not show it here? This thing may bo nor missle and not aircraft it in fact can be a ufo. Just tell me what aircraft or missle use that type of lights as on the videos

Sorry to give you the hard facts:

This was a missile carrying a nuclear warhead. Our friends from space disarmed it just seconds before it was supposed to explode :-)

Just think for a moment what the scenario would have been. World war 3.
