The book of Job does make good points. Like if God does exist he's quite an ass. Here you have a guy that obeys God and God just destroys him. And for what to prove a point to Satan. God sure is easily manipulated. And what exact scientific belief has been disproved? And for that matter what part of the Bible has been proven? I think you may be confusing theories with facts.

It's completely different. The future continues to disprove todays scientific beliefs and it always proves the Bible. This may help, friend: read the book of Job with and you will find many fascinating points. Columbus sailed to America because he said God was leading him to. He believed his bible that said the earth is round inpite of an "educated, scientific" belief at the time that earth was flat. He sailed to spread the Gospel and thanked God when he landed.
