Great audio and I am quite impressed that you receive mil SATCOM with only a dipole antenna. Frankly, it's videos like the which got me back into scanning the VHF and higher frequencies again. To listen to more of these satellietes I see a 250 MHz, RHCP helix in my future. However, since I live on a small sailboat, that could prove to be a bit problematic! ha ha

With analog radio if you troll a couple of times in a public place your likely to get away with it. But continuous use can be tracked with direction finding. The famous brazilian satcom pirates got caught. There was also another case of someone who got prison in the US for jamming marine distress, police and fire frequencies.

Last week the Brazilian federal police arrested more than 20 pirates and their equipment used to invade the milsat .. There was help from the U.S. Department of Defense indicated that the geographical coordinates of pirates..
