first saw them in an upstairs room in a pub in b,ham, they'd just released their first album...began with a song called the author, starts off nice and dreamy and quiet and you think, "thought these guys are heavy", then they hit the volume and the pub shook - absolutely friggin' amazing gig, played the whole album, just so glad i saw them in that small venue - saw them several times after that, but that first time stands out in my memory, "HEAVY" - albums sound tame compared
