(2/2) It turns out that Polonium 210, a radioactive element, was found in the fertilizer that helps tobacco grow. Yet Polonium has NO purpose in fertilizer. This radioactive element emits enough radiation to fit the description of the long term side effects of smoking, cancer. The best part is yet to come. Radiation poisoning is the ONLY way to recieve cancer. So how about them apples?

(1/2) Marie Curie was the first victim of cancer, caused by radiation poisoning. Most of the survivors of Hiroshima and Nagaski also died from cancer. Until about the sixties, cancer was extremely rare. Then something happened. People who smoked cigarettes started dying. Apparently, toxins in cigarette smoke were found to induce cancer in long term tobacco users. Whats even more facinating, is cancer can only be induced by radiation poisoning. Amazingly enough, none of the toxins are radioactive
