To start off today, we are at the old Inverurie Paper Mill for 37607 & 218 working 1Z19 Inverness - Aberdeen leg of the 4 day "landcruise". After then getting the road, they power away from Aberdeen station heading for Craiginches Cement Terminal.
For the northbound & the chase - 1Z20 back to Inverness, the pair, now lead by '218 make themselves known in horrible conditions, departing Craiginches while heading for the station. Next stop would be Oyne, just south of Insch with the pair thrashing northwards, scaring a couple of horses (I do like this clip!) :-). Next will be, just north of Keith station, with the pair wide open again, and can be heard long after the passing of them! The last stop and chance to get them, is just north of Elgin station, with only about 30 - 60 seconds spare after arriving in the car! Good feeling when you know you've done it, and was well worth it!
Enjoy as much as I do...
