  • I love this movie, and it says a lot about Bill for doing it as a labor of love.

  • I want to point out that nobody ever thought this movie would make a bunch of money. They gave it the green light because Bill agreed to do the sequel to "Ghostbusters" It made so much money that "The Razor's Edge" was barely a write-off.

  • What some view as failure has been the most inspirational film I have watched. I guess I have never been too eager to dive into pop culture and follow the flow of the masses. From what I've read here there are other's of like mind...few but others still. Thank You Bill for having the sensitivity and courage to follow your dreams, Your film touched my soul and gives me hope. It is my personal favorite.

  • The Razor's Edge changed my life. Wonderful film.

  • In my top 5 movies of all time.

  • I think no one could have played the part better than Murray. It just shows that any one can have a loss of faith and cause them to rethink their values and ideas of what life is supposed to be. He wasn't Mr. Sunshine any more. There is far more to life than status and materialsm.

  • Absolutely one of my favorite movies...."Noble failure" HAH!

  • @HeidiIvy the Razor's edge is easily the best thing that he every produced so far....people will be loading this on thumb drives....preserving it in archives and footnoting that like John Wayne he turned out popular formula movies to do one or two movies that were worth it for themselves....Meatballs and Ghostbusters allowed him to make Razor's edge....Just like John Wayne and his core group helped Huston make Quiet Man by making fort apache and using their own money to make a good film

  • "...the greatest debt to pay is for the privilege of being alive." I wish someone would scream that into the ears of all the Wall Street bankers and to the heads of the IMF and the World Bank. Thanks Bill Murray, truer words have never been spoken since you made The Razor's Edge.

  • "his most crushing creative failure" is one of my favorite movies
