En el concesionario Woksvagen, es famoso, porque, a demás de ser uno de los pocos supervivientes que quedan en tan buenas condiciones, y escelente fabricación. Le llaman el Passat H, por la matrícula, los empleados.
Mi amigo tiene problemas para encontrar algunos repuestos en la actulidad, tienen que venir de Alemania y tardan meses.

Tengo un amigo que tiene el PASSAT VARIANT GT del año 1988, Turbo Inyección Diesel, los primeros que vinieron a España, totalmente montado en Alemania.
Puedo decir que en sus 22 años de servicio, jamás ha dado un problema mecánico serio, escepto lo típico, fundido de inyectores, recambio boma agua, bateria y correas. Tiene un motor impresionante, es muy duro y resistente de chapa y sigue andando de bién como el primer día. El turbo donde se nota en en subidas de cuestas de gran pendiente.
