Cooler Master NotePal X2 Notebook Cooler - Amazon Review

A video review of the Cooler Master NotePal X2 laptop cooler. I've had it for four months now (as you can tell by the dust haha). I made a video review mainly because the photos on the Amazon product site weren't very revealing. This video gives a good idea of the physical characteristics of the product.

Some backstory: The bearings for the fan on my laptop went bad, so that is the noise you hear. I couldn't send off my computer during school so I bought a laptop cooler instead. It supplements my laptop's fan so it doesn't have to run as much, or sometimes at all (depending on what programs are running). Unfortunately, taking a video is very resource-intensive, so the fan is even louder than usual!

@GodxSkillz94 Yeah, probably. The repair shop said the bearings went bad in my laptop's fan. Not sure if it was caused by dust...

Thank you. I ask because I have a 15.6inch laptop and I ordered this laptop cooler last week and it should come this week. What do you still think of it, is it flimsy?

@a11min Nope - sturdy plastic, with steel mesh on top. Kinda bulky if anything :)

I have an 16" Asus G60VX, I just ordered this fan and I'll respond within the next week with info on how it fits.

@a11min My laptop size: 12.5 inches. The cooler can also fit 15 in, but you'll probably have trouble with 17+
