  • JAFFAAAAA!

  • O Niell xD

  • @henkman00 hm. everything is possible. let's hope for the best :3 i hope someday they will understand how much fans love SGA and SGU. And if not.. at least we still got stargate books and fanfiction of course.

Stargate 2? That would be interesting :--D i've readed about it. i would like to see that happen but i still would like to see more SG-1 and SGA movies.

  • @Sother3

that is great :) and i hope it will happen.

however i am a bit more cynical. out of experience with other franchises i can see Stargate disappear completely, i would not be the first time a great one like this would just poof, then in 10 years we may get a lazy reboot. there is also talk of a 'Stargate 2' as in sequel to the original movie that the original creators of SG want to make. this movie series would than ignore every TV show, but i don't see this happen.

  • @henkman00 i can wait. someday in the future... maybe it takes ten years or something until they decide to make new stargate show or movie but i can wait because i'm a faithful SG-1/SGA fan who loves this franchise so much. I'm seriously not going to give up easily. Never ever :3

  • @Sother3

i have watched a few SGU episodes, and i have to admit its my least favorite SG show. i do own season 1 but i still haven't seen the hole season, let alone season 2. but here is the thing, its very unlikely that we will get the movies if there is no SG show on TV. so no SGU means no movies, pity i was really looking forward to the SG-1 movie, the SGA movie plot sounds a little lame i have to say, but with a better story yeah sure i would have loved a SGA movie as well :)

  • @henkman00 I wonder why anyone would want to watch SGU? The whole show is one BIG mistake. All we wanted was couple of SGA and SG-1 movies but nooooo.. and what we get? Some boring, dark and poorly written shit and there's not even a connection to the other shows. So yeah, i blame syfy.

  • @Sother3

oh and BTW, the 3/4 movies? (SG-1, SGA, SGU and a crossover movie) were cancelled for a number of reasons. the economic crisis, direct-to-DVD just isn't that profitable these days as they were wen this movie came out. and the problems at MGM all caused the delay and now -very likely- their cancellation.

so if you want to blame someone blame syfy, the Stargate guys wanted to make much more SG-1 and SGA. but they were not allowed too, SGU was just an attempt to keep it going.

  • @Sother3

eeh no. SGA ended because it got to 100 episodes, that was enough for syfy. (now they have 100 episodes to repeat with out the cost of new episodes) this is also why they only had 100 episodes of SG-1 made. (the first 100 were made during its run on another channel) SGU was a attempt to keep a Stargate series on TV, however in today's TV market shows need to be an instant hit or they get canned. so today SG-1 may not even have reached 100 episodes. it sucks but sadly true.
