The Holmes Brothers: Amazing Grace

Godfathers of gospel, blues, funk and soul, The Holmes Brothers open their set with a powerhouse rendition of Amazing Grace at Kitchener Blues Festival, Thursday, Aug. 5, 2010.

The opening evening of the festival is known as Mel Brown Award Night, honoring Kitchener's godfather of blues who died in 2009. This year's Mel Brown Award was presented to Bruce Iglauer, founder and head of Alligator Records, home to a wide variety of artists, including The Holmes Brothers.
