Mushroom hunter, tent dweller, fermenter, odd jobber and eco-expounder, Thomas has been living at Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage for the past five years. In Life with Thomas, we get the chance to familiarize ourselves with one of the community's unique denizens. Thomas shares his personal story and how he came to desire a more ecological lifestyle, inspired by life experiences and the global ecological crisis. He also gives us a cooking lesson, goes mushroom hunting, reflects upon his wigwam, and pursues other exciting daily activities at his home in Dancing Rabbit.

  • This is very interesting - in normal societies, everybody would CHOOSE to live together, rather than being FORCED together, as 99.9% of us are currently forced to do in modern societies, because we are nothing more than indentured servants. Imagine living with people who you actually CHOSE to live with, and they you. Imagine living free from criminals, free from noise, free from doors being slammed, car doors being slammed, traffic noise, pollution, etc. Is that too much for us to ask?

  • Inspiring.

  • @PaleFate ha ha you pathetic fool be sure to take your court ordered thorzine

  • @atfatw Oh you're so clever! It's so cute how you think you're people.

  • @PaleFate you live there? I'll bet you do! I'm sure you fit in as you are lazy. useless, and no too bright!

  • @atfatw Thats a real easy thing to say from an outsiders point of view. I always loved hunting, fishing, camping, etc., and decided it was a good idea just to stay there in the woods. I have clothes of tanned hides, grow my own veggies, and my degree of fine arts for graphic design and an elite gaming computer I built myself. I'm a practicing shaman, refer to myself as a gook-back, and just think that unsavory douche-nozzles such as yourself with no experience should try it before you knock it.

  • I wonder how many gallons of crud oil it took to make that 5 gal bucket

  • so whats this place about if been down there and its just down the road where i go but what is it

  • communes always attract simpletons and funks and feebs meaningless nonentities who are real miserable nothings and can be of no good to anyone. life quickly beats them up and they run with tail between their legs to form all white all young all upper class communes. no black peolpe, middle aged folk, Christian people, and even buddhists not wanted
