A glimpse inside the Line 2 of the Manila Light Rail Transit system.

Completed in 2003, the second line of the Manila LRT, also called Megatren, or the Purple Line, has eleven stations over 13.8 kilometers of track linking Recto in Manila to Santolan in Pasig.

  • bakit MRT2? It's LRT 2....

  • @jmdarcega It's officially called MRT-2. For starters, this line isn't even light rail, so why call it LRT?

  • @mithrilcloud0 well why do they call the stations LRT stations?

  • @jmdarcega Because people don't really care about how things are properly called. They automatically assume that it's also "LRT" just because it's under the jurisdiction of the Light Rail Transit Authority.

  • @mithrilcloud0 so maybe you can change the name of the LRT stations to MRT stations.

  • Typical Korean train with Toshiba propulsion.

Subway trains in Korea are built exactly the same way.

  • may tanong ako????????/ sa may recto ba toh and sakto ung mag-kapatid na lrt train ay nag-kita and train number 15 ba yan?
