An interview with Terry Taylor (from Daniel Amos) sometime back in the '80s. Live footage, but overdubbed with studio tracks.

  • The Dr. Edward Daniel Taylor. Or Uncle Terry as some of us refer to him.

Overlooked, underappreciated, and definately one of the most creative and humble artists in the insipid wasteland that is CCM. Like Dogbark says, a musical genius.

Oh yeah, one of the funniest human beings alive.

  • I should check if they are on iTunes, because my old cassettes are dead, dead, dead.

  • In my opinion Sanctuary is one of the most amazing song ever written and recorded. I have been a Da fan since 77 and have seen them in concert for about every album. We miss the DA gang but The Lost Dogs is still giving Terry a place of creativity. Maybe a bit older and wiser, and it is rumored Terry Taylor is a musical genius.

    Thanks for the video post!

  • It actually came back into print recently as a 30th Anniversary 2 disc set. Its currently out of stock, but will be back at the official DA site.

  • If you have the cd, would someone please upload some of the songs from their original mid-70's album entitled "Daniel Amos"? Specifically "Walking On The Water".

It is out of print, and the cd's available aren't to be had for anything but arms and legs.

  • simmons drums 4 ever!!!

  • I have loved Terry since 1984, when I first heard Walls of Doubt. Never had the pleasure of seeing him in concert. I feel like I know him after 24 years. He is a master at creating good music and at illuminating and illustrating truth through music.

  • Doesn't that kind of miss the point, NortonYorksterdam? Hiding as a Christian isn't being a Christian at all, really. Doesn't mean you have to be an Evangelist, just honest.

  • One of the best bands ever!

  • Their debut album actually came out in the mid 70s and was very heavily contry rock pop influenced..Eagles meets Firefall
