  • Why are the restaurants outside! People will be waiting for the airplanes INSIDE

  • Liit. Sikip.

  • the administration should invest on infrastractures to welcome new investors! they should know how to make money roll the most profitable way!too much thriftiness wont do anything if it only sleeps stagnantly.we have to investment=investors=jobs for Filipinos. we have to show the world we are developing fast and strongly.what cant show them what they cant see!

  • @carlvincent12 I did use T3 not too long ago using Cebu Pacific after arriving from a Continental flight in T1. It's a huge difference between the two terminals and besides the politics I wonder why can't they just shut down T1 and move the intl. ops to T3. I agree they need a direct express-toll-way for the new airport along with the high speed rail. There's a lot more potential in a DMIA being a global gateway hub to the Philippines.

  • Not to mention a direct express-toll-way so the majority of the population can bypass the insane Metro Manila traffic. Nevertheless I just hope the new gateway to Philippines will come soon. Heck. I'm still waiting for T3 to be fully operational!

  • @carlvincent12 I think NAIA can be the premier domestic airport (like how Haneda in Tokyo is), while DMIA can take in mostly international with some domestic flights (like Narita is just outside of Tokyo). To make DMIA and NAIA work they need to have a high speed rail system like what they have in Hong Kong. Manila is now a city that warrants more than one airport serving the area with ever increasing air traffic.

  • Yeah but it's too bad we cant just buy the surrounding land (what is there and who lives there anway?) and add a second runway plus instead of just adding a few gimmicks to T1, why dont they just renovate it completely by re configuring the structure in order to add more gates along with improved facilities (not to mention get T3 rolling.) DMIA just seems too far (how long would the drive be?), especially for those just flying domestic.
