there are a lot of things that they could do with our tax dollars that would make more sense. infrastructure would be my number one, as they are doing now, but they are going about it in the wrong way. let local businesses do it, have them hire more people locally, give them an incentive like a city tax break for doing so. there are things that could be done, but im more than likely thinking too progressive.... can't have that...

@eghadd85 i happen to live in Owensboro and the one building they should have tooken down beside the E is the Tower Inn and that Mother fucker is still standing the E was a big part of Owensboro and it could have been restored its just people like you wanna ruin something that they couldnt have.

@bigpileofcrock its been two years nothing has replaced it and never will. ALL THE MONEY LOST IN THE LAST 2 YEARS CAN NEVER BE MADE UP!!!!!! What finally killed it was all the bible thumping Hippocrates by not letting Jon Bays actually improve the town. Its no wonder why Bowling green has passed Owensboro as third largest city in KY

@eghadd85 ...because we took down a building that was already falling apart? I worked in that thing, and let me tell you: being on the river's edge did horrible things to that building. There were places where the floor sunk down 20 inches or more in the middle; walls cracked and crumbling; a sinking rear foundation; and more more more. The massive expense of maintaining the pretty facade was a big part of what finally killed it.
