@MChurchman Well, this is exactly what we do. We go to where their teachers teach, university, to proclaim the truths of the Bible. We use familiar stories, anecdotes, metaphor, analogies, logic, etc to relate the truths of the Bible. Paul also disputed in the marketplace daily in the book of Acts. The point I was making about preaching is that you are limiting the very definitions of the word.
The primary method is 'kerusso' which is what we are doing. To publically proclaim the King to come and the truths of the Bible. The two others are to; publish and personal interaction/relationship
God bless you.
John
ps. If you can show me more and their definitions from the Bible I would gladly accept it. :)
Christians have all wisdom in Christ. As I looked at this dialogue you had with Kerrigan I wondered how many different methods of preaching do you think there are?
We don't do it for money either. We do it because God has called us to it. I agree that everyone should be doing it, but there are some whom God calls out of secular work to do it for "full-time", for lack of better words...
Nothing weird about it. Just a question. Often people try to give advice on something they have no experience in themselves. We get it all the time. And there is no "trick" when it comes to words. Open air preaching is different then simple evangelizing. Open air preaching is speaking to large groups of people for extended periods of time, often addressing many questions and dealing with a hostile crowd. We are just Bible Believing, Bible Obeying Christians...
If you have some advice for John, then you are going to have to contact him through his own YouTube channel: johnmcglone4. Do you open air preach? If so, how long have you been doing it for? I find that people who usually try to give advice don't evangelize at all, let alone open air preach. Hopefully that is not the case with you...

Not according to the Bible, there are three.
