Or you could just download gimme some tune, it automatically fetches the album artwork for the entire album once you play it in iTunes, way faster. Just make sure you enable the option in the preferences of gimme some tune, it is a free app for mac. And you can manually do the ones the program misses.

Tagscanner's a good one for pc users to embed artwork and edit tag post importing to serato

Really for best results you should edit all you tags and whatnot before importing into SSL. This will save you possible headaches down the line.

I never did that because I heard that It will use alot of memory if you have alot of tracks on your cpu already. Konix how much of that is really true?

I've never heard of such a rumor. ScratchLIVE doesn't load all the artwork for all your songs at once. I could understand if it did that, but SSL only loads the artwork when you highlight the file in your crate, so it shouldn't take up very much RAM. I have about 3/4 of my tracks with artwork and I've never had a problem, and I only have 1GB RAM in my Macbook.
