the best bond ever is sean connery, no doubt about it. but the prize for best bond trailer is for sure for the "goldeneye" trailer that annouced the return of the agent 007, played by an new actor: pierce brosnan. and he did it very well. tough job for daniel craig!

I was 13 when this movie came out. I remember playing Goldeneye on my Nintendo 64 for Christmas the year it came out. I played that game for hours on end, especially multiplayer with big head and paintball modes on fighting my friends on 4x split screen. Man those were the days, when call of duty fanboys didnt exist, just pure epic fun.

Pierce Brosnan was the James Bond I grew up with so for me he was the only real Bond. But Daniel Craig is really killing it, a different style but at least as good as Pierce.

pierce brosnan will always be the best james bond to me as i grew up with him, goldeneye was the first bond film i seen and its my favourite it has everything , i thought it had with one of the best endings with bond and sean bean fighting which was my favourite fight scene of the whole series , sean bean for me was probably one of the best bond villans aswell as you could feel it would be tough for bond to overcome him , i also loved the start of the movie as the dam jump looked iconic

My only criticism of Goldeneye is the score... or the lack of it. When I first saw the movie I went through the whole film thinking "there's something missing". It was only years later when I listened to Eric Serra's score separately that I realized the problem: brilliant score but for the fact that it was not mixed in properly. You can barely hear it throughout the entire movie.

Brosnan's best bond movie was Goldeneye period and they originally planned to have Tim Dalton reprise the role in the movie. His other films were horrible in comparison. Personally I prefer a darker bond Like Dalton and Craig both their bonds used their intelligence and wits to take down the villain instead of depending on Gadgets which add a lot of tension to the movie.
