I got Baptized 19 days ago today.
This was a hymn we sang at my Baptism.
What a beautiful light the Gospel as truly brought to my life.
I feel so blessed.

@virtualmidnight I am not ashamed of any part of the history of the LDS church. Polygamy was not first practiced in by the LDS church, it was practiced in the old testament, Jacob and Abraham are just two examples of this. It is a commandment given by god to his children during certain points in history to fulfull his purposes. One of the reasons polygamy was practiced by the LDS church is because many women had nobody to care for them because men in the church were being killed by the mobs.

If you are not a Christian, please stop abusing those who are and what they believe in. If you are a Christian, please stop encouraging this behaviour! Everyone should respect that people have different beliefs and opinions and leave it at that. Spend your energy and time making the world a better place :) If you do not agree with the doctrine of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - you do not have to. You have been given free agency to think and decide for yourself.
