    @andreew28 we were only relegated under Reid once not a few times. 6 good seasons out of 7. Magic times to be a Sunderland fan.

    Peter Reid is Sunderlands best manager since Stokoe. His record speaks for itself. When was the last time Sunderland had 2 top ten finishes. Martin O'Neill might have something to say about that in the coming years though!

    Two 7th Placed Finishes but no further! Sunderland went tits up after Peter Reid was sacked. The only decent manager they have had since was Mick McCarthy
