are those gigabyte 5870? and what clocks are you running I cant get my mem below 800 without stability issues even after flashing bios. Currently I run mine at 990 core 800 mem

@jtakata808 Yes it is. right now i run all the 5870 on 600, it works verry well, some problem, but it works great.

I'm sure with that many GPU's he's alredy determined the Mhash/KWH, and depending on when he got in, he could actually very well have made a lot of money (they once sold for $25 USD and were WAY WAY WAY easier to generate)

Its a new FIAT currency that's completely digital and decentralized (there is no one entity controlling the money like the federal reserve does for USD).

You generate coins by having video cards do complex calculations that essentially verify the hash of other bitcoin transactions, which verifies and secures the bitcoin network.

There is a cap to the number of bitcoins that can be generated (21 million), and the difficult is changed depending on ... some factor.

Yes, but they'd need a way to get the file from your computer. I would personally use an ewallet, they store your wallet for you and it's a little more secure than having your wallet on a windows computer. Anyone can steal your credit card too you know :p

It's really the same risk, just use smart methods to protect it.

I believe that bitcoins are going to change the world. I recommend that everyone read up about them. If you are interested in buying/selling bitcoins, I personally use and recommend TradeHill - they have lower fees than the main exchange (mtgox), and their website seems more professional IMHO.
