i remember picking up this cd at a shop full of old cds and trade ins. I will never regret getting this one. So many fond memories it brings back. Wayman Tisdale is missed dearly... but I am so grateful that he used his many gifts to bless this world and make life a bit sweeter with his music. RIP Wayman, until we meet on the other side.

I worked on the original version of You Are My Starship. This is an excellent version, as nice as the original. Robert and i were label mates at MCA(now Universal ) in the late 80's. I was not aware that he had passed away. A definite void. R.I.P. Brother Brookins and Brother Tisdale.

@ONLY1PEA @ONLY1PEA I believe so
"Robert has also recorded keyboards with artists including the late George Howard ('A Nice Place To Be'), Ramsey Lewis and Nancy Wilson ('The Two of Us'), Stanley Clarke ('Find Out') and Roy Ayers."

That's tripped out, I'm just now learning of Robert Brookins passing. I liked his rendition of Donny Hathaway's, "Where Is The Love". How did he pass?
