  • @CanZu7 But who are we to proclaim that Mohammed was the only true prophet or a prophet of god at all? That is why we are allowed to choose religion but why can't we leave Islam with out gettin' a death sentence according to Sharia law? That doesn't seem so human or the way it was spread by the inhabitants of the arabian peninsula :P

  • @MrAfreeworld right, actions and intentions are very important for the hereafter. this might be the wrong place to discuss it, but God gave us a free will so we can act on our own, buuuuut he will judge our actions, as we mentioned it. Life is short: isn't it worth to struggle a rather short time and to do good deeds for a beautiful hereafter? :D

  • @soccerbabez45 But that show is so interesting. :P

  • @MrAfreeworld For an example, If Islam said "Kill your neighbour if they are not muslim, That will make you good muslim" would you then kill your neighbour or would that go against your common sence? A good Muslim,Christian,Jew so on, Is trough being a good human and not dress like a walking bedsheet. Modesty should not be forced trough law (I don't care if I get 1000 radical muslims to react like a Nun that just saw a naked man). Modesty is a choice and shouldn't limit your wardrobe.

  • @MrAfreeworld Islam, I do not like my muslim roots that much, It's not bc of self-hate but the ideals portrayed in the Quran. Never been a muslim and will never be. I like my pre-islamic roots and the ideals they portrayed in the Avesta (Not all of them "Womens' menstruation is evil" wtf?) And by the society norms we can actualy define what good human is and thereby a good muslim, christian, jew and so on.

  • @CanZu7 True god will judge a person but it's heart and in my opinion actions too, Sure I maby will get punished for my sometimes overzealous statements but while I'm human I want to live my life as I want, God gave us free will after all :P. Sure I can sometimes think women in the west are somewhat..slutty and disrespected by rappers but at least there is no penalty for death for them. As a seyyed descendant I can't go to Iran or KSA if they know that I'm a seyyed descendant. bc it's against-

  • @MrAfreeworld first of all: you can't define what makes a good Muslim, but Islam does, and God judges a Muslim, not we, period. You're right, it's a (wo)man's choice if (s)he wants to obey the law or not, bc there is no sense in forcing a woman to cover herself as long as her heart isn't modest. It is a relationship between the woman and God. if her heart is modest enough, she'd rather like to cover her beautiful body, as well. God will judge a person by its heart, firstly, not by its clothes :D

  • @CanZu7 Then I don't mind secularised muslims at all, Got several secularised muslim friends and they know that the Quran and most of the Islamic laws bother me, So we keep a low profil of the subject. Bak to the subject: To cover your body isn't to be modest. I could wear a veil and still act trashy. Modesty comes from the inside and not from what you wear. Then it's kinda crazy in my oppinion that you think that covering your head and body in a bedsheet makes you more modest.

  • @CanZu7 I know that they supported extremist Afghans when their war against the Russian (Sovjet) occupants were controlin' Afghanistan but I don't see why there is a must in Sharia law for a woman to be modest (Shouldn't that be her choice), A good muslim is a secularised muslim, A secularised muslim does not choose the "mighty" and "So-ever-holy" sharia laws before the laws of the country. 28% of all muslims in UK wanted sharia law, Send them bak to KSA!

  • @MrAfreeworld haha, Talibans even want women staying at home! But that doesn't mean they are good muslims, does it? Did you know that CIA founded the Taliban-group so that it could fight against the Russians?! ;)
