Le Pacte des Loups - Mani Tribute

This is a FAN MUSIC VIDEO that I made to pay homage to my favorite character, Mani (played by Mark Dacascos), of the French film "Le Pacte des Loups" (or "Brotherhood of the Wolf" in English). The movie is awesome, go look it up/rent it/etc, it's one of my favorite films ever (and I'm pretty snooty about films).
Anyway, this is a compilation put to MC Solaar's "Sauvez le monde" - also an amazing artist you should look into (French hip-hop/experimental).

@alpacks Arrête tes conneries c'est du kung fu, ou apparenté point barre. Je suis 1er Dan de karaté alors viens pas me parler de culture martiale.

C'est pas parce que tu fantasme les art martiaux que tu dis quelque chose d'intelligent. Les indiens ne pratiquaient pas un art martial sous la forme qui est montrée ici. C'était plutôt une sorte de lutte.

Pas la peine de me répondre monsieur le professeur, si j'ai besoin de connaitre la direction de la piscine je demanderai au maître nageur.

@alpacks tu te bases sur des préjugés, mais les arts martiaux n'ont jamais été exclusivement asiatique ... Les indiens d'amérique en maitrisaient, les indiens d'inde avaient "Kalarippayatt", les grecs ont inventé le "pugilat" qui deviendra la lutte greco romaine ...

Faut arreter de réduire la moindre baston au pied que tu vois a du "kung fu" ...

Ta culture martiale va peut être pas + loin, mais ne pas croire que c une généralité !

La plupart des civilisations et des cultures ont développé des arts martiaux ! En quoi fait il du kung fu spécifiquement dans ses scênes ? Il incarne ici un iroquois : va chercher sur le net : histoire des arts martiaux et tu trouveras la preuve que les iroquois avaient bel et bien un art martial qui d'ailleurs en sera issus le nom de guerilla dans la culture occidentale

I think it's perfect music for this film, it's French, like the film, and has a moving, lush, cinematic style, even if it is rap, and its modern flavor is perfect for a movie that is a creation of so many different genres. Why not French rap, when we have an Iroquois Indian who fights Asian style? ;-) I'm not a big rap fan, but I gotta admit, I've come to really enjoy this song, and mixed with the selection of these scenes, the whole video is downright epic, I love it!
