When Baristas Are Bored

So, it was slow....I was in on my day off and I told my co workers I would take pictures. Male Barista says: "This is a video isn't it? I hate you, just a little, just a little right now. But I'm gonna keep going, See it's, it's in the legs now, Oh now it's in the hips, now it's maybe in the shoulders someplace."
And then short haired female barista says: "You look like you're Jazzercising" This is where it gets interesting.

And this immaturity is why I quit. Customers would get annoyed by everyone there but me..I got tired of being the hardest worker taking my job seriously while everyone else did the opposite. I love everyone there just not as coworkers

@bobmarley8326 Wow, I'm sorry making your triple grande 3 pump vanilla 3 pump toffee nut soy no foam 165 degree lattee while 10 more drinks are in line and the person I just gave a drink to is asking me directions to the nearest Walmart aren't good enough for you. Maybe we aren't hipstery-artist enough for you for the title "barista" but it doesn't mean we don't work hard.

@ohtexascity Very true, but it's still the best option as far as coffee chains go in my opinion and the customer service is great, usually, and the coffee still tastes good. McD's new line of cafe drinks are meeehh very mild coffee too.

This is what I loved about working at Starbucks. ya can have fun and still get the job done. I started back when we still had to use portafilters and time shots, then saw the semi automatic come in, I left right when the fully auto machines started to come in. Had just about 8yrs under my belt. I do miss it at times
