Do alot of shows that are filmed in sou calif. use big bear when they want it to double for a town in a winterstorm thats supposed to take place say in Idaho Vermont or Montana?

In Britan there has been snow and l had a chuckle to myself when the weatherman said that there was heavy snow on the way and as much as 2-5 cm (1-2 inches) could be on the ground in the morning LOL "heavy snow" lmao.

I visited there in Sep '08...it was a long road around the sides of the mountains that was a little scary for me...living in Florida at sea-level most of my life and being terrified of heights! I think it's like 7000-8000 above sea-level there. It really is gorgeous. I could live there if I never had to come down off the mountain!
