I put socks on mine so the red would register more and I noticed it makes it a lot quieter which was an additional plus. =]
I haven't tried mic and drums yet though

Ya need to practise this 1 more. To be completely honest I think that is like the 2nd time playing this song on drums at all and i am singing vocals too. I have an RMA request out for my drums too so i can get a better set and do the sock mod!!!

Sooo glad i didn't buy it today, looks terrible to play. drums sound plasticy.. There where loads of copys sat in store windows.. didnt see anyone buying it.

Ya I need to dampen them lots of ppl buying things on ebay to do so... colored pads etc or ppl use homebrew mods like socks covering them and stuff crazy... As far as the game goes its amazing i much prefer it over the guitar hero series but im super stoked about Guitar hero 4 coming out and you can create/record your own songs i definately will be getting this game!!!
