Breaking News!!! - Michael Jackson Or Jason Malachi?

Please understand my emotion regarding this speaks because of the disturbance in realizing people are dividing against one another in disrespect. LISTEN closely to what I'm saying before assuming those who has questioned the authenticity of Breaking News are not Michael Jackson fans, or that I'm being blinded by Sony or anyone else.

Until you open your mind to many perspectives, you will be blinded by what's truly clear. It doesn't sound like Michael Jackson, the "whoo's", etc. What truly makes an MJ song is lost here, therefore it's acceptable to question.

Now that I've recognized clarity, & opened my possibilities, once again I'm sure of the reality that love will reach us to the truth! We are all entitled to our perspectives, let's remember to be sensitive in our approach because even his estate said: "Michael's fans will be the judges of these songs, as they always are." So Once again It's Up to you! it's just controversy anyways lol! :)

I personally think this is MJ along with vocals from James Porte, and this this song mixing is not good in that it's disassociated from the attitude and effect MJ puts into his songs.


The craziness around this has developed in division which shouldn't be the case. We need to respect one another regardless! Nothing is wrong is opening up to the possibilities. We have to measure the truth within all of this!

It doesn't sound like what we are normally use in hearing from Michael Jackson, I'm aware of this. However that doesn't revoke it is MJ. Remember Michael Jackson's diverse vault. The mixing is just bad to me, It's one song I don't favor from Michael Jackson because it sounds so similar to what artists are doing now. It's not original, TOTALLY symmetrical to mainstream electromagnetic pop, FILLED WITH good beats but disassociated from the hook that allows it to be an EXCELLENT MJ track. :(

Michael Jackson is phenomenal in that he responded to pain through art, he allowed himself to xscape in dancing, singing, painting, & sculpture! We have to be colorblind in our perspectives NOT allowing the color within our belief to blind us!

I saw on a website saying that his father Joseph Jackson, and his children Paris and Prince claim that it's not always his singing voice. But I have no idea until I find out, apparently Oprah is going to do an interview or something, but I'm not so sure.. Anyway, thanks so much.

I think it is Michael. Why would Sony release fake songs when they have so many unreleased real songs? If people found out they were fake, they wouldn't want to buy it. So it would be pointless to sell fakes! I think on tracks like Breaking News, it was simply overproduced. Plus MJ's voice changed as he aged. During Off the Wall and Thriller, his voice was high and very beautiful. The older he became, the deeper and raspier his voice became. It was still beautiful, but in a different way.

Your instincts were right. This song (and ALL the songs provided by the backstabbing Cascio family incl. Monster, Keep Your Head Up, All I Need, Stay, Soldier Boy, Water, Burn 2Night etc) are not Michael. Sony is doing everything in their power to keep fans from exposing this. So much so that Sony recently demanded the life banning of several members from a MJ fan site found and served them with cease & desist orders. The members found & shared evidence why this is in fact NOT Michael Jackson.
