What kind of advantage? Pseudo-scientific? Sensationalism? Nothing to do with the tragedy? It's only to help people think more broadly of other plausible events behind the scenes; even when the guy did an evil thing. The pain is the pain of everyone, not just V-tech, Columbine etc.. That could also mean he wasn't taking his meds regularly. Anti-deps have to be stopped gradually, as they slowly build up in the system but have a half-lives varying from hrs to days. If stopped abruptly they can have very deleterious consequences. So was the earlier report that some "meds" where found in his personal effects untrue?

You guys are idiots. Correlation without causation, people. Some people commit suicide or act violently because they're DEPRESSED. These medications are overprescribed, there's no queston, but they are also saving thousands of lives, so get over your conspiracy theories. He was on antidepressants but was trying to get off. His roomates, family, reporters have all confirmed this.

The coroner's toxicity report said he wasn't on antidepressants because: 1) When a report is inconclusive, the coroner can't state otherwise or they'll face lawsuits, 2) He was trying to get off antidepressants so it didn't show up on his blood.

His roomates, family, and several reporters wouldn't lie about this.
