This is a demonstration of a HTML5 experiment where fish, controlled by neural networks, are evolved to become smarter and more effective at gathering food. You can play with this simulation yourself at: http://site.nixuz.com/evolving-fish-intelligence

  • Any way I can see the source code for this?

  • @MRLfromhell: Since the whole project is implemented as a client side application in JavaScript, head to the website and right click on the simulation and view the frame's source code.

  • @NixuzE Cools thanks. Iv'e been wanting to make my own evolution simulation program in java using game theory to simulate social interactions and to simulate battles I would use a 'Risk' like dice roll generator. Iv'e only taken one semester of computer science so im a long way off from learning about neural networks but if/when I do im sure ill be able to implement one in my program somehow.

  • @Black5kill AWESOME IDEA , i will try to keep clicking in the fish and see if they are good at evading me.

  • put the resulting "intelligence" into a pc controlling a tank, and declare humans as dots.

    skynet's dominance is immanent
