don't forget mario's cape is machine washable and wrinkle free.=)

everyone needs to think about game releases before they put comments like this. this exact same comment has been proven false already as superstar saga was released after melee.

The audio in this vid isn't synchronized with the parts that should actually play those sounds.

@Nintendofan4000 yea, some people can be real assholes

umm, the twist kick being a progression on the spin jump is a little farfetched.
actually, both of your relations to the spin jump are a little out there; but ill go with it, lets move on.
I dont see why you go into a background fo his punching moves, as these were not derived but merely seen as a requirement for a fighting game by the developers, though the punch punch kick combo seems suspect to having been taken from sm64...
really? moving his head? there must be something else to note.

LOL, don't pay attention to this. This was made and posted over three years ago. Look at my Brawl video on Mario's moves instead.

The second attack with the fire on his hand is the fire brand. He learned it in Mario and Luigi:Superstar Sega from an oho mage.

Why do people keep saying this? LOOK AT THE RELEASE DATES. Superstar Saga came out about TWO YEARS after Melee.
I also debunked this claim in the Brawl video.

Two years after each other is irrelevant. Nintendo probably made them about the same time, giving them time enough to change/add Mario's side smash. Brawl, for example, came out about one year after the E3 only.
Your comment also suited when listening to the four first seconds at high sound.

Oh, two years is very relevant. It would not have taken over two years to develop Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga as it's not that complex of a game. What you're suggesting is that the moves were already made for Mario & Luigi in that game a full two and a half years before it was released, effectively overlapping when Melee was developed. It would not have taken that long to complete the game after that point.
Also, keep in mind Brawl was delayed a few times whereas other games typically are not.
