Thank you for your video! From a married, straight female in California. In a state where I am bombarded by news of Britney Spear's every move I can't believe there was no coverage in my town about this tragic murder. I encourage all to get out and vote, Obama-Biden in 2008... and remember everyone has the right to live, to go to school and express themselves without fear of being murdered in their classroom.

i liked you'r video. i hope that someday before i die all gay 's,bisexual's and transgendered people will be treated equaly and have the same equal rights as all of the straight people. i just saw that this teenager was murdered and it's very sad and tragic and i feel that we as people wiether we are gay or straight should stand up and speak up and let society know that this isn't right and that everyone should have the same equal rights.

@WaymonHudson If a gay makes a pass at a straight guy, the straight guy might get mad but he doesn't get to kill the gay guy. And straights say much worse to US all the time. We gays need to carry guns wherever we go. If our faces get messed up its over for us, since we are so superficial. My looks aren't much, but I'll be damned if I let a hetero hurt my looks with a fist. I'd sooner kill him and go to jail.
-
Straights will never learn. I bet this Brandon jerk gets off lightly or with no time at all. I hope gays RIOT and beat the shit out of heteros at ever turn, from now on!!!!
-
@trinitychiq You obviously don't know what you are talking about. I was tormented for being gay even before I knew what gay was. I tried my best to keep as low a profile as I could to no avail. It doesn't matter if you are openly gay or not. You don't even have to be gay, perception is enough for someone to be the brunt of this hate. It's a good thing gays are not violent, because if the gay population of the world returned to the masses the hate that we've had to deal with it would be nuclear.

I love the video btw!
It also upsets me that everyone can't just can't be who they are and love life instead of being afraid of it..
-
Dude I think you just have aids and don't want to admit.
Its pretty sad that you would say something like that, but its also pretty funny because you just proved that you aren't comfortable with YOUR sexuality. You sure you're not just gay and in the closet?
Ts, stupid insecure people.
-
i totally agree with you!!and i am like you too!
-
ayy fuck u straight men arent getting fucked in the ass bitch!!!!
-
most straight men are really just a bunch of pussies they're guided by their feelings
-
I agree with everything you said in your blog, but I need to ask you a question. Are you against bullying in general (basically bullying people that are different in any way from being gay or being a loner that does not fit with the crowd) or are you just against bullying people base on their sexuality.
-
Well you see Lawrence was actually shot because he asked a classmate to be his Valentine and that same guy shot him after that. It was because of his sexuality, that young guy that shot him admitted thats why he done it.

Great Video and Great message. Continue to speak out yr mind and the sky will be ur starting point. I wish other people can learn from you.

Hey there hows it going well I liked your video. Ok first of all it is not just murder it is also about familes excepting and not disowning there son/daughter of there sexuality. Also we need to help those that are suicidal as well. My brother alone was 13 when he took his life becasue he was bullyied at school. The problem is it seems like nobody cares if you know what I mean.

There' a gay agenda,I never got the memo.Dam left out again.lmao
-
As much as I support gay rights and acceptance, I feel that there are a lot of holes in Lawrence King's story that have been filled in by the gay agenda.
Also, it's difficult to say "Lawrence was shot because he was gay." We don't know the day-to-gay situation between Lawrence, his classmates, and his assailant. When there is such a lack of verifiable information, news outlets are wary about what to make public. News outlets need to be very careful to be objective.

Loved ur vid. totally agree. we need more ppl like u in this world. best of luck to you
take care.

Ignorance is not okay. murder was NOT the solution. it's very easy to blame him because he was gay. open your mind.

Apparently some people thinks that a 15 years old boy deseves to be killed.
I am a little late since the video has been added a long time ago but, I must say I agree with your video and all that you stand for, I just want bullying in general to stop. People harming each other for being different in any way (like I was) while parents and teachers just turn the other cheek like nothing is happening. I wish for all people to stop being treated badly for who they are, so people won't get hurt, take their own lives, or hate others while abandoning trust, love, etc. like me.

I completely agree- bullying in general needs to stop- whether it based on race, gender, sexual orientation, or any other difference. Kids need safe spaces to learn and grow. Thanks for commenting, CalmWrath.

People like you are so fanatical you can't even see that he was wrong for bullying the other kid. You can't even see that the school should have put a stop to it and they did not. You will never admit that sometimes the gay person is actually in the wrong.

So he should have been killed? Shot in the head in cold blood? I don't think I'm the fanatical one here...

WaymonHudson, what did you think of the Newsweek article about Lawrence King?
doobiesmoke15 3 years ago
I thought it was actually very one-sided and took a "blame the victim" approach. It looked at and blamed Lawrence King, while completely ignoring his killer's past or possible issues. It seemed to imply that King was "asking for it" by being himself.
