Skip to 2:21 for the start of the EVGA GTX 465 un-boxing (optional). | This video's un-boxing portion isn't one of my greatest film jobs, so I apologize first and foremost for that--I was unaware that the camera was so zoomed in.

With that said, Nvidia's GTX 465 has the potential to be one hell of a card if one knows how to fully utilize it. Due to it's occasional ability to be unlocked to GTX 470 specs, it can be quickly transformed into a very impressive mid-budget GPU. For those who are aware of the (potential) feature it's an attractive "gambler's" upgrade.

  • @MrMertens

Hey thanks man I really appreciate that. Yeah I plan on making a ton more here in a while. I'm just starting up college again so it's kinda busy right now is all. But you know I think you might be on to an idea. I might try and make the first computer comedy channel thing...ish. Hmmm

  • Support for 6 core? Don't they all? Or the southbridge needs to support it?

  • @The1PublicEnemy

No you need a compatible motherboard and BIOS for em'. No big deal though.

I DONT KNOW WHICH TO GET

I LIVE IN SRILANKA SO THE GTX 465 IS 11200 RUPEES MORE THAN THE GTX 460 THATS LIKE 112 DOLLARS MORE BUT I HAVE THE MONEY TO SPEND

THING IS EVERYONE SAYS THE 460 IS BETTER I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP

  • i am startting to like amd over itnel bcoz its cheaper and faster at some circumstances

  • @shady110 The 465 does outperform the 460 on a lot of stuff and will overclock like the 460 does too. The only big benefit of the 460 is a lower power consumption but like I told stjo, I ran my 465 at 750mhz core for 3 months perfectly stable for folding and it stayed below 60C in my case (Azza Solano 1000)

  • @stjo5555 Oh dude, the 465 with the lower shader count is a crazy overclocker. Who made the card? If it's an EVGA you should have at the least a 2 year warranty on it so long as you register it. I just sent my 465 in to get a 470 instead but ran my 465 at 750mhz core running Folding@Home 24/7 for the past 3 months without a problem.

  • @24allix I don't know about him but it started word of mouth for me, then just apply for an LLC license as you grow. I can't remember exactly how much it was. I think it was less than $100.

  • How exactly do you get into the computer building business? do you need to get a certain business license?
