Hurricane Irene's bands slamming the North Carolina Coast. Not even close to the eye. Shot on 8/26/11 at around 5:45 PM. Up to 10 to 15 foot swells. Shot at the south tip of Wrightsville Beach. Near Masonboro island. It's hard to shoot out in the high wind gusts so sorry for shaky shots. Enjoy!

  • @Xxandrew01 I don't think any struck Wilmington. This was the mild part of the storm. Irene honestly wasn't that bad. Only lost power for about 5 hours. Thanks for watching!

  • @nukinfuts1000 Jesus glad your alive any tornados stuck when the video was done because the night before this day tornados spawned like hell on TWC.
