  • Hey man, I am an upcoming video game guitarist guy, and I'm 19 years old. Would you please tell me what soundboard and mic/program you use to record videos? Please?

Also, I have my own radio show, and I'd love to play your songs on it, giving you credit of course! Do I have permission?

  • @Shadowx1800 Hey! I'm using an Alesis MultiMix 8 Firewire mixing board to record all my instruments directly, so I don't use any mics for the guitars. For this video I recorded myself with a Shure SM57. My main audio program is GarageBand, for the guitar sounds I use POD Farm and for the drums I use EZdrummer.

Of course you may play some of my covers on you show by the way ;) Thanks!

  • wats your ps3 gamertag?

  • @thisdude47 It's the same as my YouTube account, although my PS3 died on me big time last week...

  • - Cool vid. Nice to know you're a pretty down-to-earth guy.

    - I really like the house.

    - Have you considered becoming a studio musician (playing for other people that don't have a guitarist/bassist, etc.)?

  • @VanTX89 Thanks a lot for the compliments :) I would absolutely love to have a job as a studio musician. I always find it really exciting to record, work on new sounds and experiment with gear to get a better tone so producing might also be something that I'd like to do.

  • I WANT YOUR HOUSE! haha :P

  • @CSGuitar89 Thanks for the inspiration. I have come to appreciate talented musicians more within the past year than since I took an interest in music and production 10 years ago.

Believe me, you have the makings of either side of production!
